1. FROM INDUSTRY TO INNOVATION:
The Transformation of Nation’s Park
START: 15:30
DURATION: 2.5 Hours
TYPE OF TRANSPORTATION: Walking, Cable Car and Bus
WHAT TO EXPECT: Get ready for one of the most exciting stops on the programme — because this is not just a tour, it’s a first look at the future.
We kick off at the iconic MEO Arena, where we’ll be unveiling an exclusive new concept for Parque das Nações — a sneak preview you won’t want to miss.
From there, we take you on a journey through one of Europe’s most remarkable urban transformations. Once an industrial zone, this district was radically reimagined to host Expo ’98 and has since grown into Lisbon’s most forward-thinking event destination. Along the way, we’ll explore landmark spaces including the Pavilhão de Portugal, the Pavilhão do Conhecimento, and the breathtaking Oceanário de Lisboa — each a testament to the vision that reshaped this waterfront.
But that’s not all. We’ll be soaring above the park on the cable car for a perspective like no other, capturing a spectacular drone group photo to mark the moment — and there’s a fun challenge in store, with the chance to win a truly epic goodie bag, including a fantastic weekend getaway in Lisbon.
We wrap up the afternoon at the rooftop of the Myriad hotel, where panoramic views over the Tagus and the park skyline set the perfect scene for a well-earned toast.
For business events professionals, Parque das Nações is a compelling masterclass in how visionary urban planning can unlock new possibilities for scalable, impactful, and unforgettable events.
Come curious. Leave inspired.
